Wilma Jean Vansickle, 90, of South Shore, KY., went to be with her Lord Sunday, August 9, 2020 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, OH. She was born July 6, 1930 in Vanceburg, KY a daughter of the late Harlan Bloomfield and Cynthia Horsley Bloomfield.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one grandson Jeremy Pitts; three infant great grandchild and one great-great grandson, Landan Neil; four brothers, four sisters and four infant siblings.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 71 years William Loren Vansickle, her kids, Pat Stanley and her husband Dale of Wheelersburg, OH, Karen Sue Hafer and her husband Jim of Portsmouth, OH., Danny Vansickle of South Shore, KY., Faye Vansickle and her husband Randy of Clay City, IN., Kay Riley and her husband Tom, Jeff Vansickle and wife Vickie, Bill Vansickle and wife Rhonda and Tim Vansickle and wife Emma all of South Shore, KY; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren all who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church in South Shore, KY., with Brother Brandon Vansickle and Brother Phillip Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and from 10 A.M. until the funeral hour at the church on Thursday.
